About the Role
A rapidly growing property development and construction group delivering major residential and mixed‑use projects across NSW is expanding its corporate functions and seeking a proactive Paralegal to support its in‑house legal team in a dynamic, high‑impact environment.
Responsibilities
- Review routine agreements, prepare drafts, update templates, and assist with negotiation materials.
- Manage deadlines, track progress across workstreams, and ensure timely access to required information.
- Analyze legislation, summarize regulatory updates, and prepare concise briefing notes.
- Maintain organized filing systems, ensure version control, and support accurate internal records.
- Schedule meetings, prepare materials, coordinate with external advisers, and assist with daily operational needs.
- Refine workflows, update internal procedures, and contribute to initiatives that enhance legal team efficiency.
Requirements
- Foundational legal training with experience in paralegal, legal assistant, or junior legal support roles.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with legal documents including drafting, reviewing, and redlining.
- Effective communication skills and confidence liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site as required and contribute positively to team culture.
