About the Role

The Technology Product Team at Home Chef collaborates cross-functionally to develop thoughtful technology solutions that provide a great user experience. We support products and technology across the entire business, from customer-facing platforms to internal operations tools, and pride ourselves on being impactful thought-partners and problem-solvers.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain near and long-term technology roadmaps.
  • Understand company and stakeholder strategy to compile roadmaps.
  • Refine and re-prioritize roadmaps based on business needs, feedback, and capacity.
  • Use data to estimate project impact, return on investment, and effort.
  • Ensure balance between near-term impact and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop quarterly roadmaps and present at Town Hall.
  • Partner with stakeholders, engineers, and other PMs to develop robust solutions.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of the Technology Stack and UX Principles.
  • Advocate for customer needs and voice in product design.
  • Deliver value quickly and incrementally while pursuing a strategic vision.
  • Track quantitative and qualitative metrics to determine project success.
  • Support stakeholders and colleagues as thought-partners.
  • Lead team planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Lead a product pod consisting of 3-6 Engineers + 1 Tech Lead.
  • Hold Iteration Planning Meetings, Retrospectives, Stand-Ups, and problem-solving sessions.
  • Coordinate cross-team timelines for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Communicate status updates and changes in project prioritization.
  • Motivate and encourage progress, eliminating roadblocks.
  • Gather feedback to improve work planning and execution.

Requirements

  • Completion of a two-year program such as an Associate degree.
  • Exposure to programming.
  • In-depth understanding of systems design and project management techniques.
  • At least six months of experience using project management tracking tools.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Availability to respond to on-call inquiries on scheduled nights and weekends.
  • Strong grasp of relational databases.
  • Ability to perform SQL-based analysis is highly valued.
