About the Role
As a Senior Expert, you will play a central role in our projects, significantly contributing to the quality and further development of our services. You will independently manage complex geotechnical projects, develop sustainable foundation recommendations, and provide technical support during construction.
Responsibilities
- Independent management of complex geotechnical projects
- Preparation of foundation reports, geotechnical reports, and expert opinions
- Development and validation of subsoil models and derivation of reliable soil parameters
- Execution of stability, settlement, and earth pressure calculations
- Derivation of economical and sustainable foundation recommendations
- Technical support and quality assurance during construction
- Guidance and technical support for junior staff and project teams
- Contribution to the further development of internal standards and processes
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in Geology, Geotechnics, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in subsoil assessment / Geotechnics
- In-depth knowledge in the assessment of slopes, earth structures, and ground improvement measures
- Proficient use of standard software (e.g., MS Office, GGU)
- Ideally, experience with GIS applications (e.g., QGIS)
- Strong project management and consulting skills
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with clients, authorities, and project stakeholders
- High degree of personal responsibility, decision-making ability, and quality awareness
- Fluent German language skills (at least C1)
