About the Role

As a Business Analyst in the CEO Office / Finance & Strategy, you will play a central role at the intersection of finance, corporate governance, and operational excellence. You will work directly with our CEO, supporting data-driven decision-making in a dynamic and high-growth environment. Business Analytics at Talentspring is not just a reporting function, but an in-house consulting role with direct influence on corporate management. Your initial focus will be on reliable reporting and sound analysis for Sales and Marketing, with future support for Investor Reporting, Operations, and other strategic topics. You are data-driven, think structurally, and want to understand the business implications of data, not just prepare it. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a high degree of personal responsibility and close proximity to the key drivers of our growth.

Responsibilities

Support the development, enhancement, and quality assurance of reliable reporting and analysis as a basis for data-driven decisions.
Analyze performance data from Sales and Marketing, identify relevant correlations, and help derive concrete management impulses.
Work with various datasets, consolidate information structurally, and prepare it in clear, clean models and analyses.
Support the preparation of documents, evaluations, and reports for management, finance, and investors.
Work on changing issues from finance, operations, and corporate development, helping to analytically structure complex topics.
Ensure that analyses are clean, consistent, and reliable, creating a dependable foundation for operational and strategic decisions.

Requirements

1-3 years of relevant professional experience in an analytically demanding role (e.g., Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Consulting, or a highly data-driven startup/scale-up environment).
Very strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including proficiency with formulas, models, and large datasets, with an emphasis on clean, structured, and traceable analyses.
Understanding of datasets, including how to consolidate, read, and meaningfully evaluate them to create real added value.
Analytical thinking and a high learning curve, with the ability to quickly understand, think along, and learn new topics.
Strong mindset and high reliability, taking responsibility, consistently delivering high-quality work, and being dependable without constant supervision.
Maturity in collaboration, contributing own ideas and perspectives while also executing cleanly and supporting decisions.
Flexibility and resilience, comfortable in a fast-paced, demanding environment, remaining capable of action amidst change, and eager to actively shape things.
German language skills at C2 level (written and spoken).
