About the Role

Quantcast is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Partner Integrations team. This team bridges Quantcast and third parties essential for customer advertising goals, managing ad opportunities, creative lifecycles, and customer segment ingestion. They maintain high-volume live integrations, ranging from monoliths to microservices hosted in AWS, alongside data pipelines processing terabytes of data daily. The role involves ensuring the evolution and operational excellence of these systems for smooth ad campaign execution.

Responsibilities

Drive engineering initiatives through design, implementation, and production rollout, ensuring systems are reliable, monitored, and successfully adopted.
Identify and resolve cross-team technical and commercial bottlenecks, coordinating with wider engineering teams, other functions, and third-party partners.
Support the professional development of peers and junior team members through constructive feedback on code, system design, and engineering processes.
Manage the resolution of complex on-call incidents, coordinating team-wide responses and implementing measures to improve long-term system health.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience building and maintaining complex, high-scale distributed systems.
Ability to effectively distill complex technical updates into clear, actionable information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in Java or a similar modern programming language, with a deep understanding of how to leverage it to build and scale high-performance systems.
