About the Role
As an SAP Data Migration Consultant, you will lead the conversion and migration of SAP ECC systems to S/4HANA, providing expert financial transformation consulting and driving project success through innovative data modeling and strategic project management.
Responsibilities
- Manage the conversion and migration of SAP ECC-based systems to S/4HANA
- Provide independent consulting in the field of financial transformation
- Conduct process analysis and modeling
- Facilitate agile workshops for clients
- Develop best-practice solutions and technical concepts for S/4HANA implementation
- Develop innovative solutions and transform legacy data models to S/4HANA-compatible models
- Manage project timelines, budget, and project controlling
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience as an external consultant
- Negotiation-level German (C1 minimum) and very good English skills
- In-depth experience in data migration within SAP environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP system configuration
- Proven project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Comprehensive expertise in finance and accounting for S/4HANA conversions, particularly in nearshore/offshore environments
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ABAP OO, SQL, Java, Python, or C
- Strong communication skills and a leadership mindset
- Industry knowledge in manufacturing or automotive is a plus
