About the Role

The Project Manager manages the execution of projects within STACK data center facilities, typically under the supervision of a Project Director. This role is responsible for day-to-day project coordination, collaborating with stakeholders on delivery strategy and project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage data center projects
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams
  • Support project budgeting and cost control
  • Prepare project execution plans
  • Develop procurement plans
  • Prepare and issue RFP/RFQ
  • Evaluate vendor quotations
  • Manage vendor contracting and procurement
  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors
  • Manage project schedule, cost, and risk
  • Monitor construction progress, safety, and quality
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and development teams
  • Provide project reporting to the Project Director

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in construction management with a general contractor or engineering contractor
  • Experience equivalent to site manager or construction section manager
  • Expertise in architectural, electrical, or mechanical systems
  • Experience managing schedules for large-scale construction projects
  • Professional working proficiency in Japanese
  • English proficiency is not required but would be considered an advantage
  • Candidates who are motivated to develop their English skills while working in an international environment are encouraged to apply

  • Ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines including architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems

  • Strong problem-solving capability to identify issues and drive solutions in complex construction environments
  • Strong coordination skills to align stakeholders and move projects forward
  • Ability to adapt to evolving project conditions in dynamic construction environments
  • Strong project management mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and prevent issues
  • Strong commitment to quality standards and safety management on construction sites
  • Strong ability to organize and manage large volumes of project documentation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to support issue resolution through coordination
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Experience with BIM coordination processes
  • Experience with construction project management platforms such as PROCORE, Aconex, or Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Experience using other project management applications is also welcome
