About the Role

The Junior Business Development Chef will contribute to the culinary strategy within the market and key customers, with a 50/50 split of channel responsibility between Away From Home (AFH) and Retail. This role supports the execution of the annual sales budget by assisting the Sales Team in key account and/or channel development and delivering culinary solutions with customers, aiming to grow the Kraft Heinz business through new initiatives. The position involves significant interaction with food professionals, procurement managers, head chefs, and occasionally grocery retail buyers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for culinary training of product USPs for local sales, marketing, & clients
  • Contributes to a culinary quality to the product portfolio, digital presentations, and selling stories
  • Provides customer-costed and nutrition compliant recipes for printed sales and marketing materials
  • Translates global & local market food trends into customer relevant host food concepts and recipes
  • Responsible to coordinate & execute professional culinary engagement sessions for customers
  • Collaborates with R&D product developers and Innovation chefs to provide culinary guidance on innovation
  • Supports the RTB and USPs development for NPD launches
  • Assists in the designing of culinary activation material for local portfolio
  • Manages the respective kitchen (internal or external) with professional operations
  • Active participating member of the KHC Chefs Network, sharing insights, recipes, growth opportunities, local trends, and best practices

Requirements

  • Strong professional culinary background / credential acquired in either a development chef capacity, or through classical catering college and supplementary restaurant/hotel training
  • At least 3 years’ work experience (international or specific region) in Foodservice (Hotels, FSR, QSR, pubs, catering, industry, institutional)
  • At least 1 year in a corporate environment
  • Basic software proficiency, i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Consumer and Customer Focus: Demonstrate passion for the consumer and curiosity for the customer, thinking of innovative solutions to drive performance
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to deal with different stakeholders
  • Commercial Sense: Always seeking opportunities to expand the business, create savings, and over-deliver targets
  • Project management skills: Organized, structured, and able to manage multiple projects to a successful ending within a given timeframe
  • Networking skills: Interested in business conversations and motivating people
