About the Role

Lead the station and shape veterinary medicine. Grow together with a highly specialized referral center for small animals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and organizational leadership for our station.
  • Lead and develop an interdisciplinary team of veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and veterinary technicians.
  • Care for and monitor inpatient patients across all specialties.
  • Lead daily ward rounds in close collaboration with specialists.
  • Coordinate inpatient processes and ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Supervise resident veterinarians and interns, actively contributing to our training structures.

Requirements

  • Board-certified specialist in small animal medicine or internal medicine of small animals.
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience, preferably in a referral or specialty clinic.
  • In-depth knowledge of internal medicine and diagnostics.
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and independent work style.
  • Enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and clinical decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills, leadership competence, sense of responsibility, and team spirit.
  • Very good German language skills (at least B2/C1) and good English language skills.
