About the Role
The People & Culture Manager is responsible for recruiting and supporting staff, ensuring payroll accuracy, and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves implementing HR strategies, assisting with hotel budgeting and team assembly, and managing staff documentation. You will act as a host and manager to colleagues, identify and promote talent, and contribute to the overall HR strategy.
Responsibilities
- Holistic staff support for all colleagues
- Implementing projects to optimize HR strategy and HR action plan
- Involvement in hotel budgeting
- Supporting departmental managers in team assembly
- Administration of all staff documents
- Cooperating with external payroll accounting services
- Acting as host and manager for staff
- Training newcomers in the team
- Recognizing and promoting talent in collaboration with the General Manager
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in HR management at a hotel or catering facility
- Fluent English speaking ability
- Assertiveness, consistency, and team spirit
- Ability to inspire colleagues and support their development
- Willingness to admit mistakes openly
- Bringing character and abilities to the role
