About the Role

Seeking a Theatre Wardsman Orderly to join the team at Strathfield Private Hospital. This position involves working within a dedicated team to provide safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre, demonstrating commitment to quality patient care and supporting nursing staff within the perioperative environment.

Responsibilities

• Safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre
• Provide safe effective patient handling and positioning
• Setting up of theatres
• Maintaining a safe patient environment including the setup and cleaning of theatres during procedures
• Providing support to the nursing staff

Requirements

• Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases

Skills

• Theatre Orderly experience within the Health Care Industry - (Desirable)
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effective within a team environment and independently
• Availability for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster
• A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures
• Motivated and positive with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong understanding of manual handling and infection control procedures
