About the Role

Seeking skilled Career Medical Officers and ICU Career Medical Officers with a strong interest in acute surgical and medical care, as well as ICU. These roles offer outstanding exposure to a broad range of clinical specialities, supported by an exceptional nursing and allied health team. We offer a flexible roster of varied shifts, providing an excellent work-life balance and diverse clinical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ward shifts are day evening and night
  • Be available for flexible shift work, day and night

Requirements

  • AHPRA Registration
  • PGY3+
  • Previous experience in a similar role or as a Registrar in a similar role
  • Demonstrated high level of clinical competence
  • Highly developed verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Suite
  • Neonate experience with neopuff
  • Neonate cannulation
  • Applicants must be at least 4 years postgraduate with experience in critical care (ICU, Anaesthetics or ED)
  • Proven clinical competence and confidence in acute ICU (ultrasound guided peripheral cannulation, arterial line insertion, central venous cannulation, endotracheal intubation)
  • PGY4+
  • Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
