About the Role
As a core member of the global audio software development team for PlayStation, you will support the immersive gaming experience through the "sound" aspect. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of the foundational layers that form the basis of PlayStation audio software.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement audio software foundation for PlayStation
- Implement voice processing and data flow using Audio CODEC
- Implement high efficiency and low latency considering audio signal processing
- Optimize audio functions in embedded environments
- Performance tuning based on hardware characteristics
Requirements
- Programming skills using Audio CODEC
- Basic understanding of audio signal processing
- Experience in embedded software development
- Programming ability in C / C++ / Assembler, etc.
- Low-level debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience in real-time audio processing implementation
- Experience in OS, driver, and middleware development
