About the Role
Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is recruiting a Training & Engagement Manager in South UK to develop innovative training initiatives and programmes to support business growth in Abbott’s Cardiometabolic business. This field-based, customer-facing role ensures effective use of Abbott Cardiometabolics product portfolio, delivers added value to customers, and drives loyalty and increased product utilization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of tailored training programmes utilizing virtual and face-to-face formats.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, training, technical services, global product management, and commercial teams.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Afinion and Cholestech LDX platforms.
- Support the technical components of tender submissions.
- Drive customer engagement and retention, identifying opportunities to upsell and increase product utilization.
- Complete and submit timely administration tasks including customer record keeping, activity reporting, forecasts, and expenses.
- Manage samples, demo devices, and promotional expenses.
- Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are met.
- Represent Abbott professionally, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Relevant Product Knowledge including communication of clinical and/or technical data.
- Capable computer skills for Abbott field reporting data system, correspondence, and spreadsheets.
