About the Role

Deputy is seeking a motivated, data-driven finance professional to partner with cross-functional stakeholders, drive strategic outcomes, and support business objectives. This role involves strategic business partnership, financial modeling, and operational analysis within a high-growth SaaS organization, leveraging automation and AI tools to enhance forecasting, reporting, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver actionable financial and operational insights to help stakeholders achieve growth, efficiency, and profitability goals.
  • Support the development of business cases, investment analysis, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
  • Support annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Use automation and AI-enabled tools to enhance analysis of monthly business performance against budget.
  • Assist in preparing executive-level reporting materials, dashboards, and presentations for leadership teams.
  • Monitor and analyze key SaaS and operational metrics, including ARR, MRR, churn, retention, CAC, LTV, and gross margin.
  • Translate large and complex datasets into clear recommendations and insights.
  • Support ad hoc analysis to evaluate business performance and strategic opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in analytical or strategic finance roles, preferably within Investment Banking and FP&A, or Strategic Finance in a B2B SaaS organization.
  • Proven track record of building financial models and conducting ad hoc analysis to distill complex business problems into actionable insights and influence decision-making.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities with advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
  • High attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar) to support modeling, analysis, and reporting workflows.
  • Curious, proactive, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes, insights, and business outcomes.
