About the Role

This role is for a seasoned professional in Wealth Relationship Management, focusing on the affluent and High Net Worth segments. You will be responsible for building and deepening client relationships, anticipating complex financial needs, and offering holistic financial solutions. The role involves significant impact through influencing decisions and coaching team members, with the performance of the individual directly affecting the performance of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, build, and deepen relationships to gain incremental wallet share within the affluent and High Net Worth segments through financial planning and client profiling.
  • Anticipate complex client financial needs and offer solutions using a wide range of products, services, and tools based on client profiling.
  • Recognize and understand client banking, credit, and investment needs and goals to provide holistic financial solutions with support from product specialists.
  • Provide regular value-added client engagement, including high-touch meetings, consistent communication, and access to seminars.
  • Master referral opportunities to grow the client portfolio.
  • Proactively source, acquire, and expand high-value customer relationships by maximizing sales and service opportunities.
  • Refer opportunities to segment partners, including Lending Consultants, Financial Advisors, Small Business Partners, and Relationship Managers.
  • Organize client events to enhance client bonding.
  • Acquire new clients by converting referral leads.
  • Manage client follow-up and adhere to all Regulatory and Compliance operating procedures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML and other compliance norms.
  • Partner with branch team members to ensure a positive client in-branch experience.
  • Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the company, clients, and assets.
  • Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhere to policy, and apply sound ethical judgment.
  • Escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Experience using Money Guide Pro, NaviPlan Select, or similar financial planning software is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies is preferred.
  • Must be a self-starter, problem solver, and a goal-oriented team player able to work without direction.
  • Required current US FINRA Registration: SIE, Series 6, 63, and 65 OR Series 7 and 66 or equivalent.
  • Must meet ALL US FINRA Registration requirements within 150 days of starting in the role.
  • Insurance Group 1 required.
  • Must meet ALL Insurance Group 1 requirements within 150 days of starting in the role.
  • Must register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (Registry) and obtain a unique identifier before referring clients for mortgage needs.
  • Must maintain and renew mortgage loan originator registration annually.
  • Must update mortgage loan originator registration information with the Registry on a timely basis.
  • Must provide unique mortgage loan originator identifier to consumers as required by SAFE Act regulations and Citi policies.
