About the Role
The Program Management team drives tactical efficiency while keeping the big picture in mind. Members act as the connective tissue between the client-facing front end and the operational backend, using data to identify high-impact initiatives and manage the roadmap. The goal is to ensure operational teams have the tools for exceptional partner and client experiences within optimized, repeatable processes, creating scalable and predictable timelines.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key liaison across business units to assess the operational impact of new products and opportunities.
- Influence cross-functional decision-making by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Lead the development of scalable, efficient processes by analyzing business needs and translating them into actionable system and operational requirements.
- Drive alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
- Help drive the managing and updating of a long-term solution roadmap, ensuring initiatives are effectively prioritized.
- Oversee the ongoing evaluation, analysis, and refinement of system requirements and business processes.
- Ensure seamless implementation of updates while mitigating operational risks.
- Establish and maintain best-in-class documentation standards for internal and external use.
- Lead the formalization and communication of requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
- Leverage data analytics and reporting to identify inefficiencies, emerging trends, and areas for process optimization.
- Provide actionable insights to drive efficiency, scalability, and business performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and provide teams with required input for implementation.
- Balance own workload with team needs and prioritize projects when needed.
- Dig deep into the details of one product or process while keeping the big picture in mind.
- Support prioritization efforts by continuing to grow industry and regulatory knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business operations, process optimization, or systems strategy, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Strong ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable operational and system improvements.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in leveraging data to drive decision-making and prioritization.
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Drive to lift up team members through collaboration, training, and coordination.
- Love of learning and growth, to continue to level-up technical and softer skills.
- Experience in the retirement, financial services or employee benefit industries.
- Understanding of the retirement and employee benefit industry.
- Extensive knowledge of ERISA rules and requirements.
- Familiarity with contracting, agreements and DocuSign.
- Prior experience working in an agile or scrum framework.
