About the Role

SIXT Australia is seeking a Full Time Vehicle Detailer for their Sydney City location. This role involves meeting vehicle presentation standards, exceeding customer expectations, and contributing to daily operations. You will learn all necessary vehicle information on the job.

Responsibilities

• Present vehicles in pristine condition and deliver a friendly, professional experience to every customer.
• Clean, inspect, and prepare vehicles efficiently to ensure the fleet is always ready and available for rental.
• Work closely with the team and communicate clearly to support smooth daily operations.
• Follow all safety protocols and immediately report hazards or equipment issues to maintain a safe workplace.
• Adhere to company procedures and compliance standards, ensuring all work is completed with honesty and attention to detail.
• Prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and adapt quickly during busy periods to keep operations running efficiently.

Requirements

• Must have a current provisional or full driver's licence.
• Must have working rights in Australia.
• Successful applicants will be required to complete a National Criminal History Check.
• Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.

Skills

• Time management: Demonstrated ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment, consistently meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work a rotating roster between location trading hours, Monday to Sunday, including school holidays, weekends, and public holidays.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen eye for detail and pride in work.
• Experience in vehicle detailing or cleaning is preferable, but not essential.

Salary/Compensations

• Hourly base rate from $27.92 per hour, plus penalty shift loadings, and monthly incentive.
