About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Teacher to assist experienced teachers in classrooms from Grades 7 to 12 by providing class coverage, and who will also have the potential to teach a section of TAS2O. Opportunities exist for becoming involved in the co-curricular life of the school through the supervision of clubs, teams, and activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide class coverage for experienced teachers in Grades 7 to 12.
• Potentially teach a section of TAS2O, an open-level course introducing students to trade and technology sectors through the engineering design process.
• Become involved in the co-curricular life of the school through the supervision of clubs, teams, and activities.

Requirements

• Must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
• Must possess Intermediate/Senior qualifications.
• Some experience in guiding students through a design process is required.
• Ability to work with basic tools and technology is required.
• Candidates must submit an up-to-date resume highlighting relevant qualifications and experience.
