About the Role

The Mechanical Engineer will support design efforts across various market sectors, with a focus on industrial projects like Semiconductor Manufacturing, Data Centers, and Advanced Manufacturing. The role involves working within a cross-discipline team under the direction of a Senior Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of mechanical engineering systems and components (pumps, coils, heat exchangers, fans).
• Perform heating/cooling load calculations.
• Conduct HVAC equipment selections.
• Size air and water plant distribution piping and ductwork.
• Perform ventilation calculations.
• Conduct pipe stress analysis calculations.
• Perform CFD analysis calculations.
• Create drawings and specifications.
• Participate in site walks, code analysis, and project meetings.

Requirements

• Prior knowledge of software tools such as IES, Pipe-Flo, Rhor2, and 6SigmaRoom is a plus but not required.
