About the Role

Support day-to-day workforce planning, capacity forecasting, operational process maintenance, and financial tracking for assigned teams. Ensure accurate data, efficient scheduling, and compliance with established processes to enable smooth and timely project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workforce planning and utilization tracking for assigned teams.
  • Prepare capacity forecasts using provided inputs and historical data.
  • Monitor workloads and escalate risks or gaps to the Resource Manager or Director.
  • Prepare quarterly resourcing data and reports for leadership review.
  • Proactively adjust plans within approved parameters to ensure demand is met.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational plans.
  • Participate in operational reviews, providing data and observations to support improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with established processes, escalating exceptions when necessary.
  • Track actual labour hours and costs in established systems.
  • Prepare variance reports for review by Finance or Delivery leads.
  • Enter and monitor contractor time and invoices.
  • Support validation of project and resourcing forecasts by providing accurate data.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in resource management, operations coordination, or capacity planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, resource planning tools, or similar systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding financial tracking and forecasting processes is an asset.
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and drive outcomes.
  • Ability to facilitate collaborative discussions regarding resource assignment, utilization and gap analysis between resource managers and leaders.

  • $69,816.10 to $94,693.50 CAD annually
