About the Role

Acknowledge Education is seeking a Trainer and Assessor in VET courses to plan and prepare course materials, conduct assessments, provide feedback, and support student learning in a positive environment. The role ensures training aligns with course requirements and maintains high teaching standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging and effective instruction based on curriculum requirements and ensure high standards of teaching.
• Record student attendance and progress accurately, following College policies and procedures.
• Monitor classroom learning outcomes, provide feedback, and support students’ educational development.
• Stay current with industry standards and maintain up-to-date qualifications, actively participating in professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct, report incidents, manage OH&S matters, and contribute to meetings and other relevant activities.

Requirements

• 2 years experience in the civil construction industry
• Understanding and supportive of students’ diverse needs and learning paces
• Experience working with international students in the delivery and assessment of vocational education and training
• Proficient in the use of learning management systems (Moodle) and Microsoft Office applications
• Possession of or willingness to obtain a WWCC
