About the Role

The Security Risk Program Manager will mature Grow Therapy's security risk program, reporting to the Head of Security. This role involves embedding risk awareness into decision-making to protect patients, providers, and employees while supporting the company's mission to expand access to mental healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Build and mature the enterprise security risk management framework, including identification, assessment, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
  • Maintain a comprehensive risk register to inform business decisions.
  • Lead AI risk management initiatives to support safe enterprise-wide AI adoption.
  • Manage the third-party and vendor security risk program.
  • Drive audit readiness and external certifications including SOC 2, HIPAA-aligned assessments, and HITRUST.
  • Develop executive-level risk reporting to translate technical risks into business impact.
  • Partner with Security Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Operations to embed risk awareness into planning cycles.

Requirements

  • Deep experience building and operating security or enterprise risk management programs.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare security, privacy, and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with experience influencing senior leadership.
  • Strong program management skills with a structured approach to prioritization and documentation.
  • Ability to work onsite in NYC or San Francisco three days per week.
  • Ability to travel 2–3 times per year for company and department offsites.

  • $152,000–$189,750 USD Annually
