About the Role

As an Investment Manager (m/f/d), you will play a central role in our award-winning asset management. As part of the Investment Team, you will actively shape the management and further development of our investment solutions, with a particular focus on our fund-of-funds solutions for experienced investors in Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC). Your contribution will have a direct impact on our company's success and offer you the opportunity to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

Close collaboration with strategic partners and service providers for the construction, management, and reporting of PE and VC solutions.
Monitoring of portfolio construction, conducting portfolio analyses, market screenings, and benchmarking.
Central point of contact and coordinator for all investment-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Active participation in the strategic development of our Private Markets offering.
Shaping and implementation of our AI strategy, particularly through the identification and automation of relevant processes using AI.
Leading and managing diverse (sub-)projects with a focus on innovation and scaling in the Private Markets environment.
Assisting in the conception and launch of new fund generations.
Close, cross-functional collaboration with Tech, Product, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing.
Support in developing communication concepts for end customers and external media.
Accompanying and actively supporting fundraising activities.

Requirements

At least five years of relevant professional experience in management consulting with a focus on financial services providers, in the investment team of an investment manager or advisor (e.g., family office, asset manager, PE/VC specialist), or in a comparable role in the financial sector.
Successfully completed Master's degree from a leading university, ideally in economics with a focus on finance, management, or a quantitative field.
Sound understanding of macroeconomic contexts and the functioning of financial markets.
Knowledge of the characteristics of different asset classes, especially in the Private Markets sector.
Experience in analyzing target funds and investment managers is advantageous.
Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work and experience in managing and implementing projects.
Initial practical experience with and strong interest in the use of AI-supported processes.
Hands-on mentality, strong eye for detail, and a meticulous and conscientious work ethic.
Proactive identification and optimization of inefficient processes.
Excellent communication skills.
