About the Role

GigSafe is seeking a Data Analyst to own the data stack end-to-end, from building data pipelines to surfacing insights that drive business decisions. This is a hands-on role with significant ownership, defining the data function within the company.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines for clean, reliable, and scalable reporting.
• Write Python and SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data from operator and worker platforms.
• Partner with engineering to instrument new features and capture essential signals.
• Translate data into actionable decisions and build the data foundation for AI tooling.
• Define key business questions and leverage business intuition for analysis.
• Build a clean and reliable data layer to support AI tools.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience.
• Fluent in Python, SQL, and Jupyter notebooks.
• Experience building or maintaining data pipelines.
• Deep understanding of business context, including operators, workers, and economics.
• Ability to enable others by surfacing insights for ops, sales, and product teams.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and defining problems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear communication skills to translate complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using AI tools and understanding their limitations.
