About the Role
Acknowledge Education is seeking a passionate and committed Lecturer to join its Bachelor of Construction and Project Management program. This role involves contributing to the development and delivery of high-quality course content, ensuring alignment with the Higher Education Standards Framework, and creating inclusive, engaging learning experiences for students.
Responsibilities
- Deliver independent, engaging teaching to course students.
- Coordinate and lead other staff, ensuring effective collaboration and excellence through teaching and learning meetings.
- Assess student learning outcomes through formative and summative assessments.
- Maintain accurate student progress records, report to relevant parties, and identify students at risk of failing, offering guidance and support.
- Participate in professional development, enhance teaching practices, and stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Report incidents of breaches in the student Code of Conduct or any health and safety concerns.
Requirements
- Holds a Post-Graduate qualification in Construction Project Management or equivalent (AQF 8 or higher).
- Ability to report student conduct breaches and health and safety incidents.
- Strong administrative skills and ability to adhere to directions.
- Completed or in progress PhD in Construction Project Management or equivalent (Desirable).
- Tertiary teaching experience with a proven track record (Desirable).
- Ability to innovate teaching methods and use technology for student engagement (Desirable).
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with experience teaching diverse student populations (Desirable).
