About the Role

Genesis is a physical AI research lab and full-stack robotics company building a universal robotics foundation model. We are seeking to hire the best Research Scientists, SWEs, and Robotics engineers by competing with top AI labs. This role involves shaping the company's hiring strategy, setting the bar, and developing the necessary tooling and team.

Responsibilities

• Closing elite technical talent, owning full-cycle searches for Research Scientists, SWEs, and Robotics engineers.
• Partnering with founders and engineering/research leaders as a recruiting advisor, shaping searches and calibrating the hiring bar.
• Sourcing candidates from technical channels such as papers, GitHub, conferences, communities, and networks.
• Running an efficient and positive candidate experience process.
• Building scalable sourcing, screening, and reporting systems in Ashby, automating manual tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience closing senior, hard-to-win technical hires in engineering, AI/ML, or research within a competitive market.
• Ability to engage credibly with technical stakeholders and gain the trust of skeptical individuals.
• A systems-thinking approach focused on automation and workflow optimization.
• Self-starter capable of bringing structure to ambiguous situations and maintaining quality while moving quickly.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting data, including pipeline health and conversion rates, to adjust strategies.
• Experience using AI tooling to enhance sourcing or screening efficiency.
