About the Role

As a Software Engineer (Mobile), you will take ownership of the mobile apps end-to-end, collaborating closely with design, product, backend, and infrastructure teams to deliver a high-quality mobile experience aligned with our security-first values.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and evolution of mobile applications across iOS and Android
• Drive architectural decisions and establish mobile engineering best practices
• Build secure, intuitive, and polished mobile user experiences
• Collaborate cross-functionally with backend and client engineers to deliver features
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes for App Store and Play Store
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in production environments
• Contribute to code reviews and raise engineering standards
• Stay current with mobile platform trends and contribute innovative ideas

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Significant experience building production mobile apps
• Strong experience with native iOS (Swift) and/or native Android (Kotlin/Java) development
• Willingness to work across both platforms or establish a cross-platform approach
• Deep understanding of mobile app architecture and best practices
• Experience building apps that handle secure authentication, networking, and state management
• Strong knowledge of mobile testing practices including unit, integration, and UI tests
• Experience shipping apps to the App Store and Google Play
• Ability to debug production issues and monitor performance
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and make pragmatic decisions in a startup environment
