About the Role
As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will drive growth and engagement within our ecosystem by maintaining relations with customers and users. Your role is essential in establishing our platform as a key tool in the network security software and DevOps communities.
Responsibilities
- Drive customer and community engagement by creating high-quality content such as blog posts, technical articles, and video tutorials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and users, providing support and guidance.
- Represent NetBird at industry conferences and developer-focused events, delivering presentations, webinars, and talks.
- Track and analyze key metrics related to user engagement, community growth, and support effectiveness.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers, providing expertise and insights.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with a technical background in DevOps or Network Engineering.
- Hands-on development experience as a software engineer.
- Proven track record of building engaged developer communities.
- Experience in developer events as a speaker or organizer.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to create compelling technical content.
- Public speaking, writing, and live demo experience.
- Prior experience contributing to and collaborating with open-source projects and communities.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout Europe and North America for events and engagements.
- Proficiency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interest in secure networking solutions and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with production technologies such as REST/gRPC APIs or Kubernetes.
