About the Role
This role leads Advisory delivery teams internationally within CSEC, managing Workday processes, staff, team culture, social events, and performance development. As Delivery leader on multiple projects, ensure strong client satisfaction, project outcomes, and effective teamwork in collaboration with DTAS senior staff. The position upholds quality standards, provides coaching, coordinates training, and requires deep expertise in at least one consulting area for enhanced project results and clear client communication.
Responsibilities
- Line manager to the CSEC HQ Advisory team within one or more offices.
- Manages office communication and team engagement through internal meeting co-ordination.
- Responsible for HR and Workday activities linked to line management responsibilities including recruitment, managing individuals’ performance, talent management actions, and all related Workday processes.
- Actively mentors and coaches the team.
- Leads individual discussions on performance, compensation, bonus and career options.
- Works with global and regional Advisory leadership to manage local headcount, grade distribution, and attrition for effective headcount planning.
- Responsible for team performance management, including annual reviews.
- Mentors, coaches, and shares subject matter expertise with the team to help develop individuals and capabilities that support career development.
- Supports the implementation of new innovative tools / AI tools to drive increased productivity, efficiencies or quality in delivery.
- Foster a positive culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning, with regular attendance in the office.
- Leads multiple projects, in collaboration with DTAS Advisory seniors.
- Ensures client materials, reports, and presentations are consistently high quality and insightful, delivering all or significant portions of findings to client while balancing resource considerations.
- Balances revenue and resource considerations to achieve commercial objectives for CSEC, while supporting DTAS goals such as profitability and competitiveness.
- Ensures team utilization aligns with budget and timelines, proactively escalating risks to DTAS and driving solutions such as scope extensions where required.
- Prioritizes tasks and objectives effectively, managing time and resources appropriately, setting realistic deadlines, and preparing contingency plans.
- Identifies innovative ways to delivery projects with increased quality, efficiencies or productivity.
- Maintains accountability for client satisfaction and the delivery of high-quality, value-added outcomes in collaboration with DTAS team.
- Demonstrates high level of expertise in key consulting areas and project types.
- Provides on-project coaching / leadership within given area of expertise to delivery teams.
- Collaborates with DTAS senior stakeholders to define future skill sets required for CSEC Advisory teams.
Requirements
- At least 7-8 years professional experience in consulting, pharmaceutical and healthcare industry with evidence of career progression.
- Demonstrable experience in and commitment to the life sciences and/or healthcare industries.
- Proven experience in managing a team and identifying, recruiting, mentoring/coaching, and retaining top talent.
