About the Role

Mannix Marketing is a remote digital marketing agency seeking a skilled SEO Content Contractor for a part-time, ongoing role. This writing-focused position involves creating optimized content for readers and search engines, collaborating with strategists within an established workflow.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize content, including blog posts, location pages, industry and service pages, industry insight articles, and destination guides
• Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO best practices
• Edit and refresh existing content to improve rankings and relevance
• Follow brand voice guidelines and client-specific tone requirements
• Meet deadlines consistently within a remote, asynchronous team environment

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in SEO content writing with a portfolio of published work
• Native or near-native English writing proficiency; strong command of grammar, tone, and clarity
• Familiarity with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Surfer SEO, or similar
• Ability to translate keyword data into natural, readable content
• Tourism, travel, senior living, or marine/waterfront destination experience is a plus, not required
