About the Role
Unique entry level OSHC Management opportunity within the education sector! Assist in leading a team of Educators with support & training provided. Develop your leadership skills! Our Outside School Hours Care service, Our Lady Of Fatima Caringbah OSHClub, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 25 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. You'll work split shifts, supporting our Monday-Friday hours: 6:30am-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 2:00pm-6:00pm (Stay and Play). Extra hours are also available during school holidays! With the backing of a dedicated state-specific office and the mentorship of regional managers who visit regularly, you’ll be empowered to shine in your role while developing your skills as a leader. Responsibilities
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration
Requirements
- Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
- Has Australian work rights
- Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
