About the Role
As a Commercial Space Business Analyst, your main focus will be to optimize assortment mix and size of offer, secure project implementation & execution, and support global functions in the development and roll-out of tests and other initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Optimize assortment mix and size of offer
- Provide commercial input to portfolio strategy based on sales performance and demand through catchment area analysis
- Coordinate with Continent SP on replenishment adjustments and stock blocking in case of sudden changes in store performance
- Set the omni commercial business case, assortment mix and ideal store capacity for new stores, rebuilds and portfolio optimizations, using relevant toolbox
- Ensure interior tracking is performed in Sales Market every season and gather the needed input to understand ideal store space capacity for future projects
- Execute allocation actions for all store projects (new stores, rebuilds, closures and SP10), aligned with project phase planning and coordinating timeline with logistics and area teams
- Perform on-site visits with Visual Project Lead, to ensure strong commercial execution and optimal customer experience
- Follow up project performance and share learnings with Sales Market and Global
- Collaborate across function to secure project implementation and optimization of assortment mix and size of offer
- Collaborate with Expansion, area teams, store teams, VPLs and other relevant stakeholder to support project execution
- Give data-based feedback to Store Design (global Retail) on layout capacity to maximize sales productivity
- Support global functions in the development and roll-out of tests and other global initiatives
Requirements
- 2+ years in Commercial Merchandising or Expansion function
- Understanding of both Expansion and Commercial Merchandising WoW
- Understanding of supply chain and garment flow complexity
- Understanding of physical store operations and routines
- General knowledge about existing store portfolio in market
Skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to set up a business case and calculating ROI
- Skilled in linking commercial analysis with store setup and layout
- Strong project management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
