About the Role
As an OSHC Casual Educator, you’ll work primarily at Helping Hands Willoughby, building ongoing relationships with families, children, your team, and the wider school community. You may also support nearby services across the region when additional support is needed. This role offers flexible work that fits around university timetables and placements, the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, and develop valuable skills.
Responsibilities
- Work regular shifts Monday through Friday.
- Provide support to nearby services across the region when additional support is needed.
- Work a minimum of 3 afternoons per week.
- Gain hands-on experience working with primary school-aged children.
- Develop leadership, communication, and behaviour management skills.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with children.
- A team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check.
- Hold a state working-with-children check.
- Have Australian working rights.
- Complete National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding.
