About the Role

This role serves as the Finance Technology product owner for the end-to-end Finance Close capability. You will lead the strategy for close process transformation, capability ownership, operational scalability, and M&A integration readiness, ensuring the company can report financial results with speed, accuracy, and control.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Technology product strategy for end-to-end close transformation, including simplification, automation, and system enablement.
• Develop and maintain a Finance Close capability roadmap aligning Finance priorities with technical and architectural direction.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and Engineering to identify process and ownership gaps.
• Define product requirements across core finance capabilities such as Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Revenue Recognition.
• Assess end-to-end close processes to identify manual workarounds, reconciliation gaps, and opportunities to improve cycle time.
• Create a cross-functional decision framework for Finance Close capabilities, including ownership, prioritization, and release planning.
• Lead Finance Technology planning for M&A integration, including due diligence, Day 1 readiness, and systems integration.
• Evaluate integration strategies for acquired businesses, including ERP onboarding and interim operating models.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to define scalable integration patterns for financial data, master data, and system cutover.
• Drive alignment on finance master data decisions across legal entities, products, and reporting hierarchies.
• Define UAT and cutover expectations, including test scenarios and business validation criteria.
• Create reusable playbooks, templates, and checklists for close process improvement and M&A integrations.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Finance Technology, Finance Product Management, or Finance Operations leadership.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end Finance Close processes, including subledger close, reconciliations, and audit readiness.
• Experience improving or transforming close processes across a complex enterprise systems landscape.
• Proven experience with M&A integration, legal entity onboarding, or acquisition-related systems work.
• Strong understanding of upstream and downstream finance dependencies across Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and FP&A.
• Experience working with enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday Financials.
• Ability to translate complex finance needs into clear product requirements and capability roadmaps.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, SOX requirements, and compliance impacts.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with evolving business processes and decision rights.
• Strong communication skills for both business and technical audiences.
