About the Role

Planet is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for all AI capabilities. This role acts as a strategic partner to Product Management, bridging AI development and market needs. You will translate complex technical AI capabilities into clear buyer value, ensuring product-market fit for AI tools. Responsibilities include understanding customer challenges, shaping the product roadmap, defining engagement strategies, and equipping sales and marketing with messaging and competitive insights. This position offers the opportunity to market groundbreaking data products and AI-powered solutions, with autonomy to prioritize projects and guide marketing functions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute GTM and pricing strategies to guide AI products from beta to General Availability.
  • Drive positioning and messaging that translates complex AI capabilities into clear, benefit-driven narratives for non-technical buyers.
  • Produce and maintain core sales enablement assets, including pitch decks, battlecards, product videos, and interactive demos.
  • Partner with Product Management to secure product-market fit, using data and research to ensure customer problems are solved.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams to integrate product messaging into broader market-facing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree.
  • 6+ years of B2B, product or solutions marketing experience.
  • An AI-native builder mindset; actively leverage AI tools in daily workflow.
  • Strong technical creative skills with hands-on ability to produce high-quality product videos, visual assets, and interactive prototypes.
  • Track record positioning and marketing B2B/enterprise products, specifically bringing zero-to-one AI or highly technical SaaS products to market.
  • Experience partnering with product, sales, and executive stakeholders and communicating across leadership.
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-starter with ability to collaborate across departments.
