About the Role
Seeking a Business Management Lecturer with an accounting, finance, or economics specialism to join the Business academic team. This role is ideal for an academically grounded practitioner who enjoys delivering applied, practice-led teaching and supporting students in developing financial literacy and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accounting and finance-focused modules primarily at Levels 4 and 5 on the BA (Hons) Business Management programme.
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching using blended and experiential approaches.
- Mark and assess Level 4–5 undergraduate modules.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance.
- Maintain subject expertise through research or professional practice.
Requirements
- Degree and postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum two years’ Higher Education teaching experience.
- Strong assessment literacy and feedback practice.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to prove the right to work in the UK.
