About the Role

Ambrook is seeking a Talent Engineer to support its growth by building the team behind the company. This role involves working with the founding recruiter to manage sourcing and coordination for technical and commercial positions, while also developing systems to automate recruitment tasks. The position offers clear career paths in full-cycle recruiting, RecOps & talent engineering, or sourcing expertise, with opportunities to build automations using tools like Claude, Zapier, and Ashby.

Responsibilities

  • Own sourcing and coordination across active requisitions.
  • Launch sourcing and outreach campaigns for technical and/or commercial roles.
  • Map improvements and identify candidates for automation or tooling enhancements.
  • Own scheduling and coordination across all active pipelines.
  • Run consistent weekly volume of outbound sourcing across technical and commercial roles.
  • Hold top-of-funnel conversations with sourced candidates and hand qualified prospects to the founding recruiter.
  • Ship automations or tooling improvements that reduce manual work and increase sourced candidates.
  • Own top-of-funnel strategy, including sourcing channels, outreach approach, and pipeline health reporting.
  • Prototype or co-build larger systems such as a sourcing agent, market intelligence feed, or AI-powered candidate personalization workflow.
  • Build reusable sourcing playbooks.
  • Present pipeline health and funnel data to the recruiting team and hiring managers.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in sourcing or recruiting coordination, with a focus on proactive pipeline generation and operational precision.
  • Actively use and have started building with AI tools in your workflow.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and engage passive talent in competitive markets.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles to speak credibly with engineers.
  • Experienced with LinkedIn and modern platforms like Juicebox, Metaview, Wrangle, Gem.
  • Clear, effective written communication skills to represent Ambrook's voice in candidate messages.
  • Ability to manage sequences, follow-ups, tag candidates, and submit well-written feedback.
  • Ability to hit outbound goals while maintaining personalized outreach.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for coordination and the operational side of recruiting.
  • Experience sourcing for fintech, GTM/commercial roles, or early-stage startups (bonus).
  • Opportunity to work on both technical and non-technical roles depending on experience.
