About the Role
The incumbent will develop curriculum, design/revise specific courses, create an effective and innovative learning environment for our students, teach and assess student progress and achievement; work collaboratively with colleagues, participate in committees and related associations. The incumbent(s) may also be responsible for assisting with program promotion; developing and maintaining strong links with professional associations and practice settings; supervising work integrated learning mandatory professional practicum clinical placement activities; academic advising students; participating on Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and Humber committees.

Requirements
- Minimum Master's degree in Nursing obtained or in process
- Registered Nurse and member in good standing of the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Superior interpersonal communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to curriculum development
- Student-focused approach utilizing engaging and effective teaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to coach and support students while managing classroom dynamics
- Strong knowledge and application of current pedagogical principles
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering innovation and positive change
- Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of principles of equity and inclusion
- Collaborative team player
- Committed to a positive team culture
