About the Role

The Project Manager, Store Graphics is responsible for project-level management of retail store graphic projects, including execution for new store openings, renovations, and relocations. This role coordinates with cross-functional partners to achieve project milestones, acting as the liaison between creative teams and stakeholders to guide projects from concept through delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Review project briefs with Store Design, clarifying objectives, timelines, budgets, and success criteria.
  • Define scope, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
  • Build and maintain detailed project schedules and flag resource issues.
  • Facilitate design reviews and approvals.
  • Manage work from concept to installation, including change orders.
  • Track revisions, approvals, and version control.
  • Create and monitor project budgets to ensure delivery on time.
  • Work with vendors to reduce costs.
  • Estimate resource requirements.
  • Manage communication and ensure transparency with all project stakeholders.
  • Actively manage project schedules.
  • Identify and manage issues and risks jeopardizing project success.
  • Establish best practices and learnings through project closeout.
  • Document all graphics and ensure design decks are filed appropriately.
  • Act as an advocate for the customer in all design and decision-making processes.
  • Embrace and seek out technology for high-tech and high-touch customer solutions.
  • Proactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needs.
  • Challenge the status quo by identifying areas for improvement and resolving issues.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in Creative Project Management or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated progressive project management experience, ideally within the retail industry.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously on strict timelines.
  • Strong analytical, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve.
  • Highly effective relationship and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment with multiple stakeholders at different levels.
  • Advanced computer skills required in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Project), Smartsheets, Dropbox, and ability to read CAD.
