About the Role

We are looking for a Risk Underwriter to join our US Risk Underwriting team. This role involves performing financial analysis, approving credit limits, monitoring portfolios, and supporting the Commercial Team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform counterpart's financial analysis based on provided information and sectorial/macroeconomic knowledge.
  • Approve credit limits with individual delegation, considering policy characteristics.
  • Proactively monitor the portfolio to mitigate losses.
  • Inform and explain credit decisions to policyholders.
  • Support the Commercial Team in retaining business and developing new client relationships.
  • Liaise and coordinate with Coface entities in other countries.
  • Perform industry reviews.
  • Develop relationships with credit managers and Brokers.
  • Liaise with Commercial, Information, Organization, and Claims employees.
  • Represent the company by visiting clients, prospects, and brokers, and participating in industry events and conferences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in a financial analysis role.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information from various external/internal sources, including financial statements, sector and country economic reports, and other departments' data.
  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule in one of our three offices: Princeton, NJ, Hunt Valley, MD, or New York, NY.

Salary/Compensations

  • USD 80000 - USD 110000 - yearly
