About the Role
This role is primarily concerned with selling delegate places over the phone for global events and training courses, both physical and digital. The Associate Delegate Relations Manager will advise customers on event suitability, identify cross-selling opportunities, and build strong client relationships through excellent customer service and account management.
Responsibilities
- Make at least 100 calls a day to contact clients and prospects.
- Generate revenue by selling large scale events, specialised conferences and training courses.
- Identify opportunities to cross sell the whole portfolio of events across various industries.
- Provide support to ensure revenue is collected on sales made.
- Supply detailed feedback to divisional managers and other departments on event and sales campaign progress.
- Identify and benchmark against competitive events.
- Contribute to new lead generation activities using all available resources.
- Follow up all leads in a prompt and pro-active manner.
- Ensure consistency of sales/marketing information provided to customers.
- Consult closely with wider Informa Connect teams and the event team to ensure efficient and aligned sales activities.
- Perform additional duties as needed in support of the overall business.

- $40,000 - $44,000 CAD
