About the Role
The Security Manager will be responsible for ensuring DSV's transportation and logistics operations comply with security regulations and requirements. They will develop and implement security policies and procedures, coordinate responses to security breaches, and conduct site security assessments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements.
- Coordinate the company’s response to any theft or breach of security in a cross functional manner.
- Conduct site security assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement security solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Conduct security training for DSV employees and contractors.
- Manage security incidents and investigations, including reporting to relevant authorities and customers.
- Stay up-to-date with security regulations and requirements and provide feedback to the management team.
- Conduct security audits and risk assessments of suppliers and vendors.
- Support the Business Development Function as it relates to new Business.
- Maintain relationships with regional law enforcement bodies to benefit from crime intelligence.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in the transportation and logistics industry.
- Experience with international security regulations and requirements.
- Familiarity with physical and cyber security.
- Knowledge and experience within a security field (perhaps police or military).
- Ability to interact with personnel at all levels internally and externally.
- Proficiency with audit and risk assessment functions.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills including written and oral to deal with a wide range of customers both internal and external.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with security management systems.
- May supervise security personnel.

- Extensive knowledge of security regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with security management systems, such as C-TPAT and AEO.
- Fluent English (reading, writing, verbal)

- $112,000.00 – $145,000.00 Annually
