About the Role
The Lead, Customer Master Data & Analytics supports the Order-to-Cash (OTC) Global Process Lead by ensuring strong governance, data quality, and operational excellence for Customer Master Data across SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems. This role provides people leadership and partners cross-functionally to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely customer data, driving continuous improvement, analytics, and process innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Customer Master Data vision, roadmap, and governance framework.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for Customer Master Data across multiple departments.
- Define and enforce global customer data standards, stewardship practices, and data quality controls.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Customer Master Data processes.
- Oversee Customer MDM/DSP operating models.
- Lead and manage DSP workflows.
- Support end-to-end project delivery, including SAP enhancements, integrations, and data remediation.
- Lead medium-to-large scale initiatives using Smartsheet project management methodology.
- Maintain and update Customer Master Data SOPs and country variants.
- Deliver executive-level reporting and analytics on data quality, KPIs, and process performance.
- Drive AI-enabled automation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, privacy, and SOX requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of 3–5 analysts supporting customer onboarding.
- Directly manage, coach, and develop team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Data & Analytics.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, drive change, and operate independently within a matrixed, global organization.
- Proven experience leading process improvement and data quality initiatives.
- Strong project management capabilities, including experience managing medium-to-large initiatives using Smartsheet or similar tools.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency in Excel.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Power BI, Oracle, and data modeling concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Demonstrated people leadership capabilities.
