About the Role
Reports to the Regional Director, IT, Central Canada and participates as a member of the Regional Technology Services team. This role ensures user problems are addressed consistent with current Service Level Agreements, deploys and maintains employee workstation hardware, and manages Wi-Fi infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Resolves Colleague Help Desk Tickets for the Region (Regional Shared Service)
- Manages IT Systems disaster recovery and Daily Backup Logs for the Region (Regional Shared Service)
- Deploys and Maintains all Employee Workstation Hardware
- Updates Wi-Fi Log - Maintains all Guest and Back of House Wi-Fi equipment in Public, Meeting Space and Guestrooms
- Reviews Anti-virus logs and resolves any issues on Cortex XDR enterprise console for hotels
- Ensures all Wi-Fi equipment is functional in Public, meeting and guestrooms
- Maintains all equipment/Software Inventory
- Completes all PCI initiatives
- Executes all Hotel driven IT initiatives projects under IT DIR/SM supervision
- Maintains IDF and MDF’s as per ACCOR Standards
- Assists in maintaining standard guidelines
- Ensures monitoring of recovery system – daily backups for region
- Contributes to Technology Services knowledgebase
- Looks for opportunities for new technology that may be beneficial to customer
- Participates in after-hours on call support(24/7) with the regional IT team
- Participates in all regional aspects of a IT projects as directed
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience
- A+ Certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration and networking
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer or equivalent
- Cisco certification or equivalent experience
- Understanding of hotel operations, an asset
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with a strong sense of commitment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Previous supervisory and training experience an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
