About the Role
Research Analysts (RAs) are core to the GRB’s research teams, distilling findings from various sources and presenting them to senior technology executives. RAs directly engage with Executives at global Fortune 500 companies and other influential thinkers. This role offers the opportunity to build enduring and transferable career skills through training, mentorship, and growth.
Responsibilities
- Draw thoughtful conclusions from complex, mostly qualitative data from a cacophony of often-conflicting sources.
- Identify and collect data through interviewing and surveying GRB members, analyzing proprietary data, conducting secondary desk research, and speaking to key players in the technology ecosystem.
- Propose and test insightful ideas through primary and secondary research.
- Convey research findings in polished written, graphical, and verbal products.
- Aid in developing content and facilitating conversations that support member initiatives.
- Identify and connect with industry leaders, academics, and startup executives for research interviews and relationship building.
- Master research processes with an eye towards continuous innovation.
- Utilize approved AI tools to improve efficiencies and deliver greater value for clients.
- Solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change.
- Embrace best practices and feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Technology background, higher degrees, or post-graduate work experience are welcomed, but not required).
- Excellent writing, reading and critical thinking skills.
- Interviewing and presentation skills are a plus.
- Comfortable working in small, collaborative teams in an iterative, fast-paced manner.
