About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman to join a growing and well-established mechanical contractor serving commercial, industrial, and institutional clients throughout Connecticut. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and a strong pipeline of work.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead plumbing crews on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, and jobsite workflow
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes, project requirements, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
- Monitor project progress and maintain schedules
- Order materials and manage jobsite inventory as needed
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
- Mentor apprentices and support crew development
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Valid Connecticut P-2 or P-1 Plumbing License preferred
- 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience
- Previous Foreman or leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and blueprints
- OSHA certification is a plus
- Valid driver's license
