About the Role

As a Paraplanner, you will work as part of a high-performing team to provide comprehensive support to Advisers and Financial Planning Executives. Your role is to deliver efficient, professional, and effective client service with a strong emphasis on quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client circumstances, portfolios, and objectives to prepare recommendation reports for Advisers.
  • Provide high-quality technical, administrative, and research support to Advisers.
  • Conduct whole-of-market research for investments, pensions, and protection plans.
  • Research asset allocation for client portfolios and analyze existing investments.
  • Liaise with the Regulatory & Technical team to ensure compliance.
  • Prioritize work by maintaining regular communication with advisers.
  • Keep advisers and their support staff updated on advice in the pipeline.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams and third-party product providers.
  • Attend and contribute to internal and external meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and efficient client records and data.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as required.

Requirements

  • CII Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum).
  • Ability to produce comprehensive, accurate, and clear recommendation reports.
  • Experience analyzing client circumstances and objectives for holistic financial advice.
  • Proficiency in complex report writing.
  • Experience liaising with third-party providers.
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High standard of personal organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience within Private Wealth Management.
  • Experience working to targeted service standards and procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Ambitious and goal-oriented.
  • Evidence of continual learning and development of skills and knowledge.
  • Experience working unsupervised with a high level of self-motivation.
  • Good IT skills including MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and back-office systems.
