About the Role
This role is a maternity cover position within the People & Culture team, focusing on enhancing the day-to-day experience of employees from onboarding to development. The People Experience Administrator will support HR and administrative functions, acting as a first point of contact for colleagues and ensuring seamless operations within the People function.
Responsibilities
- Provide HR and administrative support to People and Talent teams.
- Coordinate diaries and activities related to HR.
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests.
- Maintain records of people-related data (payroll, personal information, new starters, leavers).
- Support the hiring process by performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, and issuing employment contracts.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, and HR events.
- Coordinate training sessions and events.
- Perform new starter checks, onboarding/offboarding, and update records.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Support ad-hoc HR projects.
- Support surveys to assess employee engagement.
- Support individual training needs and develop tailored plans with the L&D Partner.
- Administer employee benefits programmes, such as pensions.
- Formulate methods to improve employment policies, processes, and practices.
- Recommend changes to management regarding HR policies and practices.
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced HR function.
- Excellent hands-on experience using MS Office, databases, and HRIS systems.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Great attention to detail with thorough checking procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with care.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for outcomes.
- Ability to judge when to ask for guidance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with flexibility in style and approach.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Professional, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Desire to offer elevated customer service.

Salary/Compensations
- Up to £30,000 per annum basic salary
