About the Role

Equity Project Managers at Nova Group, GBC are responsible for performing Equity-level Property Condition Assessments (PCA) and Project Capital Needs Assessments (PCNA) in accordance with ASTM standards, local, state, and federal regulations. This role involves completing all aspects of assessments, including field work, data compilation, and report preparation, to meet client needs and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Equity-level Property Condition Assessments (PCA).
  • Perform Project Capital Needs Assessments (PCNA) in accordance with ASTM standards, local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Complete all aspects of assessments including field work, data compilation, and report preparation.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Conduct field work requiring travel up to 40-50% throughout the US.
  • Physically navigate sites, including those requiring roof access and construction sites, in various weather conditions.
  • Climb ladders or access roof hatches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction-related field.
  • 2+ years of recent experience conducting and/or managing Equity (acquisition) Property Condition Assessment.
  • Experience with Debt PCAs, PCNAs, and/or engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), architectural (Fire and life safety, ADA, etc.) consulting services.
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT), or on track for Professional Engineer’s License or Registered Architect’s License (RA or AIA).
  • Knowledge of building components, systems, and cost estimating.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and related specification sections.
  • Strong technical writing skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Current, valid state driver’s license.
  • Annual medical monitoring required.
  • Ability to physically navigate sites in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb ladders or access roof hatches.
